Wall Thickness Change
From time to time you may be required to change wall thicknesses, at a corner or on a straight wall. This can be accomplished by using combination size ties or forms. The following graphics demonstrate different ways to achieve these changes.
2” – Straight Wall
This wall thickness change is achieved by using a 6”-8” tie. For thicker walls, use the appropriate tie needed (i.e. 8”-10”, 10”-12”).
ISC 4"x4" with Wall Thickness Change Option
4" - Straight Wall
This wall thickness change is achieved by using a 6”-10” tie. For thicker walls, use the appropriate tie needed (i.e. 8”-12”, 10”-14”). Flathead pin required for this application.
6" - Straight Wall
This wall thickness change is achieved by using a 4”x4” inside corner and 2”x2” outside “W”, to reduce wall thickness by 6”.
This application may also be accomplished using ties for the desired size. (For example this application would use a 6”-12” combination tie.)
